The local administration of Victoria City is launching a significant social assistance investment aimed at supporting vulnerable elderly individuals. Starting August 1, 2026, in partnership with the NGO Home Care Association, the project will provide over 3.6 million lei in services to seniors, funded mainly by European grants. A Home Care Center will be established to offer free personal care, medical assistance, and counseling to 71 elderly residents, including those at risk. The initiative addresses the urgent need for social services in small communities and aims to create a sustainable care model for the future.
