Progres pe Autostrada Sibiu–Pitești: A fost străpunsă a doua galerie a tunelului Boița 1

The second gallery of the Boița 1 tunnel on the Sibiu-Pitești highway has been completed, with overall construction progress at 16%. However, work is limited to 45% due to missing permits. The Turkish contractors have finished both galleries, with the next phase involving interior lining. Other tunnels in the section are also under construction, but progress is hindered by environmental agreements and construction authorizations. The section includes seven tunnels built using the NATM method, with a total contract value of 4.25 billion lei.
