The budget for electric car purchases under the Rabla Auto 2026 program was fully consumed within ten days of opening. The Environmental Fund Administration reported that 6,724 applications totaling over 120 million lei were submitted. Meanwhile, the program for thermal and hybrid vehicles continues, with 10,611 applications registered and approximately 44 million lei remaining. There is a possibility of additional funds for electric cars if some beneficiaries withdraw their reservations, and a budget revision could also increase allocations depending on budget execution.
