Programele școlare vor putea fi revizuite dacă evaluările arată probleme sistemice. Noile reguli ale Ministerului Educației

The Romanian Ministry of Education has introduced new rules allowing for the early revision of school curricula if national or international assessments reveal systemic issues. The updated methodology, published on September 9, 2026, establishes a standard validity period of eight years for school programs, with provisions for extraordinary reviews in response to significant educational challenges. This includes legislative changes, major shifts in graduate profiles, and concerning assessment results. The methodology emphasizes the need for a clear correlation between what students learn and how they are evaluated, alongside systematic monitoring of curriculum effects on student performance. The previous 2014 methodology has been replaced to enhance curriculum development and evaluation standards.
