Programele școlare la gimnaziu, reanalizate din 2027. Ministrul Educației: „Să vedem ce predăm, dacă informațiile sunt relevante”

Starting in 2027, Romania's Ministry of Education plans to reassess the middle school curriculum, focusing on the relevance of the content taught and its practical application. This initiative follows the recent high school curriculum reform and is prompted by concerning results from the PISA 2025 assessment, which highlighted significant gaps in the competencies of Romanian students aged 15. Minister Mihai Dimian emphasized the need to evaluate what is taught, how it is taught, and how well students can apply their knowledge. The current curriculum, implemented in 2017, aimed to develop competencies but has not led to the expected improvements in international assessments. The upcoming review will not immediately replace all programs but will initiate a comprehensive analysis of educational content and teaching methods.
