Starting September 1, Romanians can schedule medical appointments online through the new E-Sănătatea Mea platform, which also provides access to medical records and digital prescriptions. This initiative aims to streamline patient access to healthcare services and reduce paperwork. Patients will be able to communicate with insurance houses and manage their medical documents digitally. The system will be tested before full implementation in 2026, and traditional methods of accessing services will still be available. A digital identity app, ROeID, is recommended for secure access.
