The Ministry of Environment has proposed a public consultation for a new program that offers financial support to individuals with photovoltaic systems for energy storage solutions. The total budget is 400 million lei, with a maximum funding of 15,000 lei per beneficiary. This initiative aims to enable prosumers to store energy produced during the day for use in the evening, reducing the need for electricity imports. Eligible participants include all prosumers connected to the grid, regardless of how their systems were financed. The program is still in consultation, with feedback from stakeholders being considered before final approval.
