Romania's weather forecast has shifted from a red heat warning to an orange alert for heavy rain and storms. The National Meteorological Administration issued several warnings affecting most of the country. While high temperatures persist, rain and strong winds are expected in various regions. The orange alert is in effect for northern Moldova, Maramureș, Oltenia, eastern Transylvania, western Muntenia, and parts of the Eastern and Southern Carpathians, with potential hail and significant rainfall. A yellow alert for instability is also in place for Banat, Crișana, western Transylvania, southern Moldova, and most of Muntenia, indicating strong winds and heavy downpours.
