Prognoza INHGA: Debitul Dunării, la minim istoric
The Danube River has reached a historic low of 1,400 cubic meters per second, with this level expected to remain stable until at least August 12, 2026. The water level at Cernavodă is projected to drop by 10 centimeters in the coming week, but this provides additional time for the safe operation of the nuclear power plant. The National Administration of Romanian Waters reports a significant hydrological deficit in several regions, affecting water supply in 80 localities across 12 counties. Controlled detonation was conducted at Stânca Pârjoaia to increase water flow to the nuclear plant, involving over 100 military personnel.
