Profitul net al OMV Petrom a scăzut cu 14% în primul semestru, la 1,8 miliarde lei - Economica.net

OMV Petrom reported a net profit of 1.8 billion lei for the first half of 2026, down 14% from the previous year, impacted by lower financial results and a solidarity tax. The company invested 3.7 billion lei in strategic projects and increased its contribution to the state budget to 10 billion lei. Despite challenges, the operating result excluding special items rose to 3 billion lei, supported by higher contributions from gas and energy. The company plans to invest 9 billion lei in 2026 to enhance Romania's energy production capacity.
