Dutch company Envipco has signed a contract with Ahold Delhaize to supply 600 Reverse Vending Machines for Romania's returnable packaging system. The first machines are set to be delivered in Q4 2026, with completion expected by early 2028. Envipco's CEO highlighted the success of the return system, achieving an 83% collection rate since its launch. The company operates a modern factory in Sebeș, producing models to meet demand. Despite a revenue drop in 2024, Envipco remains a key player in Romania's recycling technology market, contributing to waste reduction and community recycling efforts.
