Video evidence confirmed the assault, leading to a court ruling that emphasized the unacceptable nature of the teacher's actions. Despite the student's initial complaint, he later accepted a monetary settlement from the teacher and did not pursue further claims. The teacher received a 6,000 lei fine for abusive conduct, with the decision open to appeal.
