Producția industrială din România a scăzut cu 3,7% în primele opt luni ale anului

In the first eight months of the year, industrial production decreased by 3.4% compared to the same period last year, with a 1.6% increase in energy production. August saw a 12.6% drop in industrial output from the previous month, primarily due to declines in manufacturing and energy sectors. Year-on-year, industrial production fell by 0.4%, while the extractive industry grew by 8.6%. Adjusted figures showed a 2.7% decrease compared to last year, with manufacturing down 3.4%. Overall, from January to August, industrial production dropped by 3.4%, with manufacturing down 4.4%, but energy production increased by 1.6%.
