In the first seven months of 2026, industrial production decreased by 3.7% compared to the same period last year, with the processing industry experiencing the largest declines. In July, industrial production rose by 0.7% from the previous month, driven by increases in the extractive industry and energy supply. However, compared to July 2025, production fell by 6.3%, primarily due to declines in the processing industry and energy supply. Adjusted figures also showed a decrease of 3.8% for the first seven months of 2026, with the processing industry down by 5.0%.
