Kazakhstan's oil production has declined significantly following the closure of a key Black Sea terminal due to drone attacks. The Tengiz field, managed by Chevron, saw output drop to about 406,000 bpd from 925,000 bpd in July. Overall production fell to 1.63 million bpd from 2.07 million bpd. The Caspian Pipeline Consortium halted oil reception after attacks on its tankers. This terminal is crucial, accounting for 80% of Kazakhstan's oil exports. The situation raises global oil supply concerns amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
