In September 2026, Romania's car production dropped by 12.64% to 45,776 units, with Dacia facing a significant decline. Dacia's output fell by 19.55% compared to September 2025, while Ford Otosan's production decreased by 4.05%. Over the first nine months of 2026, total production decreased by 10.9%, with Dacia's output down by 14.9%. This decline follows a previous drop of 2.2% in September 2025.
