Romania's automobile production decreased by 7.8% in the first eight months of the year, totaling 319,750 units. Dacia produced 169,014 units, while Ford Otosan manufactured 150,736 units. In July 2026, 49,171 cars were produced, with Dacia contributing 25,869 and Ford 23,302. August saw a further decline, with only 12,607 cars produced, Dacia at 3,741 and Ford at 8,866.
