Producția auto din România a scăzut cu aproape 11% în primele nouă luni din 2026. Dacia pierde mai mult decât Ford Otosan

In the first nine months of 2026, Romania's car production decreased by 10.9% to 355,715 units compared to 2025. Dacia Mioveni's output fell more sharply than Ford Otosan Craiova's, with Dacia producing 182,558 cars, down 14.9%, while Ford produced 173,157, a 6.2% decline. The gap between the two factories narrowed significantly, from nearly 30,000 units in 2025 to just over 9,000 in 2026. In September 2026, total production was 45,776 cars, a 12.6% drop from the previous year. Dacia's September output was 23,355 units, down 19.6%, while Ford's was 22,421, a decrease of 4.1%. Overall, both factories produced fewer cars than in 2025, with Dacia's decline being more pronounced.
