Romanian cosmetics manufacturer Farmec has appointed Ioana Birta as the new CEO, transitioning to a corporate governance model. Birta aims to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness while building on the company's strong foundation established by former CEO Mircea Turdean. Turdean will remain involved in strategic direction as a board member. Birta brings extensive experience in strategy and operations, having previously served as CFO at TeraPlast and worked in audit and consulting. The board remains unchanged, with members focusing on strategic development.
