Romanian agro-food group Carmistin has signed an agreement to take over the poultry assets of Aaylex One, the company behind the Cocorico brand, which is undergoing financial restructuring. This acquisition includes a comprehensive production platform, ensuring job security for over 1,000 employees. The deal aims to maintain the operational continuity of Aaylex One, which has faced financial difficulties, including significant debts. Carmistin plans to integrate these assets into its existing operations, enhancing its position in the poultry sector. The transaction is pending necessary approvals and will align Aaylex's operations with Carmistin's standards.
