Procurorul general al Ucrainei, Ruslan Kravchenko, demisionează în urma acuzațiilor de corupție • Newsweek România
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko has resigned amid corruption allegations related to illegal call centers. His resignation follows an anti-corruption raid at his office, where investigators uncovered a money laundering scheme involving his staff. In his resignation letter, Kravchenko expressed a desire to avoid political confrontation and previously dismissed the allegations as unfounded. Corruption scandals have plagued Ukraine throughout the war with Russia, affecting several close associates of President Volodymyr Zelensky. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau reported that Kravchenko's office received funds to protect fraudulent call centers, which were then used to purchase luxury items. Kravchenko denied any wrongdoing and thanked Zelensky and the parliament for their trust in his statement before resigning.
