The case initiated by independent MP Ioana Grosaru against the presidential decree appointing Siegfried Mureșan as prime minister is set for a hearing on September 28 at the Bucharest Court of Appeal. The case has been assigned to the IXth Section of administrative litigation, with Judge Olimpiea Crețeanu presiding. Crețeanu has been involved in several controversial cases recently, including suspending government decisions at the request of the PSD party. Investigations reveal that the suspensions were poorly justified, often copying arguments without proper modifications. Crețeanu was also central to a failed attempt to remove a Constitutional Court judge earlier this year.
