The TollRo platform launched on October 1 faced significant technical issues, preventing transporters from registering and paying road fees. This led to delivery delays and increased costs for companies. The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) announced that no fines would be imposed until the issues were resolved. Despite this, many drivers remained unable to operate due to waiting for company confirmations. Radu Dinescu from UNTRR criticized the system's inefficiency and highlighted that the system was not ready for implementation. He also mentioned that the system administrator had requested a delay in the project’s rollout until April 2027, but political pressure led to its premature launch. UNTRR is advocating for a suspension of fines until the system is fully functional.
