Probleme pe cea mai aglomerată magistrală de metrou. Lider USLM: Pe M2 mai circulăm cu 15 trenuri, față de 23 înainte de pandemie
Bucharest's Metro Line 2 is currently operating with fewer trains, causing concerns about service delays. Union leader Marian Artimon reported that only 15 trains are in use, down from 23 pre-pandemic and 16 during summer. This reduction follows the scheduled maintenance of seven CAF trains. Metrorex claims that the normal schedule is maintained by transferring Bombardier trains to cover the shortfall. However, Artimon noted that one of the transferred trains broke down, exacerbating the situation. The union also highlighted ongoing issues with the aging rolling stock and delays in the delivery of new Alstom Metropolis trains for Line 5, which complicate the overall service efficiency. The timing of these maintenance activities coincides with increased passenger traffic as schools reopen, raising concerns about wait times and service quality.
