AnimaWings will gradually phase out its Airbus A220-300 aircraft starting September 29, 2026, due to recurring technical issues. The airline, owned by Cristian and Marius Pandel, currently operates six A220s and two A320s, with six A220s being retired. Despite this, AnimaWings will continue operations with its remaining fleet and is working to adjust flight schedules accordingly. The company noted that the issues are not unique to them, as other European airlines face similar challenges with the A220. Recent cancellations and delays have been reported, including significant delays on flights to Antalya. AnimaWings has also welcomed three institutional investors, retaining the Pandel brothers in leadership roles.
