Several European government websites were temporarily taken offline due to a critical software update aimed at fixing vulnerabilities in PHP. This precautionary measure affected sites in France, Denmark, Finland, and the Netherlands. The update addressed two critical vulnerabilities rated 9.2 on the CVSS scale. Cybersecurity officials advised those unable to fix the issues to shut down their sites. Some websites managed to resolve their technical difficulties and resumed operations shortly after the incident.
