PRO TV, amendă de 4 milioane de euro de la Consiliul Concurenţei

PRO TV has been fined 4 million euros by the Competition Council for not adhering to commitments made in 2021 regarding cable and satellite retransmission prices. The decision, made on July 4, was kept confidential until now. The commitments aimed to ensure fair pricing for different operators, particularly RCS&RDS, which holds a significant market share. The fine represents about 1.8% of the company's revenue and 6.6% of its net profit. In 2025, PRO TV reported a slight decline in revenue but an increase in net profit.
