The NGO Caradja Cantacuzino announces the release of Princess Ecaterina Caradja's autobiography, translated into Romanian for the first time. This event commemorates her life and legacy, highlighting her resilience and dedication to orphaned children. Known as the 'Angel of Ploiești' for her wartime efforts, Ecaterina faced a tumultuous childhood, being separated from her family at a young age. The book launch will take place at the George Enescu Museum, reflecting the cultural ties to her family's history. Proceeds from book sales will support the restoration of the Caradja estate in Nedelea, transforming it into a museum.
