Primul tunel forat de autostradă din România se pregătește de trafic: au început testele la Momaia

The Momaia Tunnel, Romania's first bored highway tunnel, is undergoing testing of its systems ahead of its opening. The contractor is ensuring that safety, ventilation, lighting, and traffic management systems are fully operational. This testing phase aims to guarantee flawless operation from day one. Meanwhile, the construction of the Tigveni-Curtea de Argeș section of the A1 highway is nearing completion, with final asphalt layers being applied. This section, spanning 9.86 kilometers, is part of a larger project expected to enhance connectivity between Transylvania and southern Romania.
