Primul tren chinezesc a intrat în circulație în România
The first Chinese passenger train has commenced commercial operation in Romania, running between Bucharest and Brașov. Operated by Astra Trans Carpatic, the electric train can reach speeds of 160 km/h and aims to cover the distance in about 2 hours and 35 minutes. Chinese representatives are present to train Romanian mechanics on the new technology. The train features accessibility and safety technologies, including low floors and wide doors. It was introduced after successful testing and authorization procedures.
