Primul român campion mondial la box profesionist, închis pentru tentativă de crimă

Petrică Paraschiv, the first Romanian boxing world champion, is serving an 11-year sentence for attempted murder and drug trafficking. He was recently incarcerated at Rahova Prison after being involved in a violent street fight. Paraschiv's criminal activities escalated from petty theft to serious offenses, including drug trafficking with accomplices. His involvement in a bloody brawl in August 2022 resulted in injuries and property damage, leading to his arrest. He is currently facing an additional five years in prison after a temporary suspension of his sentence.
