Primul RMN neonatal din România a ajuns la Spitalul Marie Curie din București

The first neonatal MRI in Romania has been installed at the Marie Curie Emergency Hospital for Children in Bucharest. This specialized equipment allows for the examination of critically ill newborns without the need for transport to imaging departments. The MRI, brought from Germany, is designed specifically for newborns and features a compact design, low noise levels, and the ability to maintain controlled temperatures. It enables medical staff and mothers to be present during scans, enhancing comfort and safety. The project, developed by the Vasiliu Association, received a donation of 1.3 million euros from Lidl Romania. The MRI will provide crucial information for diagnosing neurological and cardiac conditions, improving care for critically ill infants.
