The MuTRA – Historical Gallery of Transylvania will be inaugurated on August 30, 2026, in Florești, Cluj County, as Romania's first fully integrated museum built from scratch post-communism. Visitors can enter for free, and the event will feature concerts, guided tours, and historical reenactments. The museum's design incorporates European project references, including the Moesgaard Museum in Denmark, focusing on climate-adapted heritage storage solutions. The project cost is 146 million lei, funded by European grants. The inauguration will include a diverse program lasting seven hours.
