He emphasized the importance of the moment and announced the first government meeting would take place that evening. The new government secured 280 votes, exceeding the minimum required by 47 votes. Niculescu is the fourth prime minister appointed by Nicușor Dan since the previous government fell five and a half months ago. The cabinet includes members from PSD and independents, covering various key ministries.
