Primele vești bune pentru Cernavodă: Nivelul Dunării crește în următoarele 7 zile. Apele Române publică imagini cu seceta de pe Olt

The Danube River is expected to see an increase in flow, rising from 1,300 to 1,550 cubic meters per second by August 29. This improvement, however, will not immediately resolve the cooling water shortage for the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant, which remains significantly below normal levels. Authorities are also releasing additional water from the Olt River to assist the situation. Despite ongoing dredging and other interventions to direct more water to the plant, the overall conditions remain challenging. The Ministry of Energy does not anticipate a restart of the reactors until at least the end of August.
