Primele vehicule blindate COBRA II fabricate integral în România au fost livrate Armatei

Turkish manufacturer Otokar has delivered the first 12 COBRA II armored vehicles to the Romanian Armed Forces, marking a significant step in local production. This delivery is part of a larger program worth nearly 857 million euros, transitioning to series production in Romania. The vehicles were produced at the Automecanica factory in Mediaș, which is now a subsidiary of Otokar. So far, around 300 of the 1,059 vehicles contracted have been delivered, with an additional 216 expected this year.
