Transelectrica has announced 12 energy projects participating in a capacity allocation auction, totaling 491 MW. Notable entries include Romgaz's solar parks and Hessmaier SRL's mixed projects. The auction mechanism replaces the previous 'first come, first served' approach, allowing for competitive bidding. Participants can submit projects of at least 5 MW, with a participation guarantee of 20,000 EUR/MW. Auction sessions will start on October 30, 2026, covering a 10-year capacity period from 2028.
