Primele inaugurări pe Autostrada Sibiu – Făgăraș ar putea veni în 2027: aproape 40 km sunt “în cărți”

Construction on the A13 Sibiu–Făgăraș highway is progressing rapidly, with two central sections expected to be completed a year ahead of schedule. More than half of the 68 kilometers of the highway could be open by 2027, as work on two of the four sections has surpassed 50% completion. The project aims to improve access to tourist areas and connect with the Transfăgărășan. The highway, which runs parallel to the busy DN1 road, faces challenges due to numerous structures over rivers and local roads. Optimistic estimates suggest that approximately 37.5 kilometers could be inaugurated by the end of 2027, with significant work already underway on the second and third sections. The project is closely monitored by Pro Infrastructură and CNAIR, highlighting its strategic importance for regional connectivity.
