Primele extracții de gaze de la Neptun Deep vor începe în prima jumătate a anului viitor

The Neptun Deep gas extraction project, led by OMV Petrom and Romgaz, is set to begin production in the first half of 2027, with an estimated annual output of 8 billion cubic meters. The project is progressing as planned, with the Neptun Alpha production platform already installed. The production plateau is expected to be reached by the end of Q3 2027. This initiative aims to enhance Romania's energy security and position it as a leader in natural gas production within the EU. The project has an estimated recoverable volume of 100 billion cubic meters and a development cost of 4 billion euros, with a low carbon footprint.
