Primele două barje se îndreaptă spre brațul Bala. Scufundarea, programată pentru această seară

The first two barges are set to be sunk today near the Bala arm of the Danube, with the operation expected to last three to four hours. The second pair will follow tomorrow. The director of the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant warned that Reactor 2 may need to be shut down in five to six days if the barge operations do not proceed as planned. Recent dredging and rock removal have provided additional operational days for the reactor. However, delays in the barge operation have been attributed to bureaucratic issues and legal complications regarding the vessels. Without the successful installation of the barges, the reactor's operation could be significantly impacted, potentially reducing Romania's energy production by 10%.
