Primele declarații ale Rheinmetall după preluarea Șantierului Naval Mangalia: Va fi hub pentru nave militare în Europa de Sud-Est

Rheinmetall has officially announced its acquisition of the Mangalia Shipyard, aiming to transform it into a dual-use hub for military and civilian shipbuilding in Southeast Europe. The deal, valued at approximately 138 million euros, will be finalized soon. The shipyard will support the construction of four military vessels ordered by the Romanian government and will be structured to separate military and civilian operations. Rheinmetall plans to modernize the facility and enhance production capabilities to meet future demands. The Romanian Economy Minister confirmed that state-owned land remains unsold and emphasized the significance of the sale price as a record for insolvent companies in Romania.
