The first Cobra II armored vehicles for the Romanian Army have been delivered, marking the start of series production for 700 units. Otokar plans to deliver 216 vehicles this year from its Mediaș factory, which relocated production from Turkey. The Cobra II is designed for high-risk missions, offering enhanced protection and a top speed of 120 km/h with a range of 600 km. The project has created over 300 jobs in the region, reflecting its significance for local employment and military capabilities.
