Primele blindate COBRA II fabricate în România au fost recepționate de MApN

The Romanian Ministry of National Defense has received the first 12 COBRA II armored vehicles produced locally, with a total of 1,059 planned deliveries. Production began in 2026, and 216 vehicles are expected this year. The contract with Turkish manufacturer Otokar is valued at approximately 4.263 billion lei. The local production aims to enhance the Romanian Army's capabilities and develop the national defense industry.
