Primarul Salonicului, în vizită la București pentru inițiativa „Destination Thessaloniki” / A doua capitală a fostului Imperiu Bizantin, oraș multicultural

The mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, will visit Bucharest on September 24-25 to promote the city through the "Destination Thessaloniki" initiative. This initiative aims to enhance Thessaloniki's visibility abroad and establish institutional partnerships, particularly focusing on the Romanian market, which is significant for tourism. The campaign promotes Thessaloniki as a modern urban destination for tourism, culture, and gastronomy. During the visit, a special event will be held at the Greek Embassy in Bucharest, attended by tourism market representatives and local officials. Angeloudis will also meet with Romania's Patriarch and Bucharest's mayor to discuss collaboration in tourism and culture. The initiative will continue in Germany later this year, with plans to expand to the UK and France by 2027.
