The case involves over 30 residents opposing construction permits for nearly 100 apartments near the Jewish Cemetery. Residents had previously succeeded in suspending the construction permits, which prompted the legal action against the mayor. Chirica has filed for reconsideration of the fine, but the court's decision remains final.
