He is accused of benefiting personally or for others, with one charge being continuous. Alongside him, accountant Monica Banciu is also charged with complicity. The contracts, totaling over 22,000 lei, were made despite the presence of a legal advisor in the municipality. Additionally, Laza is under investigation for alleged embezzlement related to fuel purchases for personal vehicles, which were falsely recorded as municipal expenses. A judge has ordered further investigation into this case.
