Since April, the stadium has primarily hosted music events. Ciucu emphasized a shift in focus towards prioritizing sports over concerts starting next year. The new hybrid grass will cover 8,500 square meters, with an additional reserve for repairs. The installation began recently, aiming for football to return by September 14. The costs for maintaining the arena are significant, amounting to 30 million lei annually, funded by the local budget, necessitating income from events.
