The Basarab Bridge will reopen to traffic overnight, with ongoing repairs expected to be completed by early next year. Mayor Ciprian Ciucu confirmed that vehicles and trams will operate without restrictions. The repairs, which began in June, focused on traffic-related issues and included asphalt, waterproofing, and structural repairs. Work will continue to replace rusted fences and soundproof panels, ensuring safety and maintenance for the future.
