Primark plans to open a new store in Sun Plaza, Bucharest, between September 2026 and September 2027, marking its third location in the city. Additionally, the retailer will expand to Bacău by the end of 2026, seeking 85 employees for the new store. Meanwhile, Auchan is set to open a hypermarket in Sun Plaza by the end of this year, hiring 120 staff members. This move follows Carrefour's exit from the space, as part of a broader strategy to modernize the shopping center. Auchan also plans to launch a supermarket on Calea Floreasca.
