The mayor of Oradea, Florin Birta, plans to auction the management of two sports facilities to private operators, aiming for significant investments in modernization. The facilities, currently under the management of the Municipal Sports Club, have been underperforming financially. Birta proposes that private investors invest at least 500,000 euros in each facility to ensure year-round operation. The city has received interest from potential investors, including a tennis academy, and plans to initiate the bidding process soon. The goal is to improve management and generate revenue for the city.
